01
IllumiNeuro is a four-component research blend combining PE-22-28, Pinealon, N-Acetyl Semax Amidate and N-Acetyl Selank Amidate in a single lyophilized material. The components are small peptides from different structural families, each studied in its own area of neuropeptide research.
The blend provides a standard multi-peptide sample for analytical method development and for in vitro work where several peptides need to be tested together. No studies have been published on this specific combination, and the amount of each component is stated on the product label and certificate of analysis. Each component’s properties are described on its own reference page where available. It is supplied for in vitro research only.
02
The four components differ in size, origin and chemistry.
N-Acetyl Semax Amidate
Ac-Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro-NH₂ (855.0 g/mol): an ACTH(4–7)-derived heptapeptide with both termini capped. Its Met1 is the main oxidation-sensitive site in the blend.
N-Acetyl Selank Amidate
Ac-Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro-NH₂ (792.9 g/mol): a tuftsin-derived heptapeptide with both termini capped. It is the most basic component.
Pinealon
Glu-Asp-Arg, a short tripeptide of the bioregulator type. As the smallest and most polar component, it elutes early in reversed-phase HPLC.
PE-22-28
A short peptide derived from spadin, studied in relation to the TREK-1 potassium channel. Its sequence and specifications should be confirmed against the certificate of analysis.
03
Each component has its own research background.
N-Acetyl Semax Amidate
Studied as a capped analogue of Semax, whose research has focused on neurotrophic factor (BDNF/TrkB) expression.
N-Acetyl Selank Amidate
Studied as a capped analogue of Selank, whose research includes GABAergic gene expression and enkephalinase inhibition.
Pinealon
Studied as a short regulatory peptide in cell models of oxidative stress and gene expression.
PE-22-28
Studied in relation to TREK-1 channel inhibition in neuronal models.
No published studies have examined the four peptides together. These points are research context only; no effects are claimed for this material.
04
Multi-analyte HPLC and LC-MS
A demanding test sample: four peptides of different size and polarity, from a very polar tripeptide to capped heptapeptides, that must be resolved and quantified in one run.
Co-formulation stability
Used to check whether components affect one another’s degradation, especially Met oxidation in N-Acetyl Semax Amidate.
Combination studies in vitro
A standard mixed preparation for comparing combined and single-component effects in cell models.
05
Storage
Store the sealed vial at −20 °C, desiccated and protected from light. Let it reach room temperature before opening.
Reconstitution
All components are water-soluble. Dissolve in water or a mild aqueous buffer with gentle swirling.
Oxidation
The methionine in N-Acetyl Semax Amidate is the main oxidation-sensitive site. Minimise light and air exposure.
Solutions
Freeze single-use aliquots and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. Use low-binding polypropylene tubes.
06
Each component is identified and quantified separately.
HPLC
Reversed-phase C18 with a shallow TFA gradient starting at low organic content, so that the very polar Pinealon is retained. Detect at about 214 nm; 280 nm helps pick out tryptophan- or aromatic-containing components.
Mass spectrometry
Each component has a distinct mass, for example [M+H]⁺ at m/z 855.4 for N-Acetyl Semax Amidate and 793.5 for N-Acetyl Selank Amidate, so LC-MS confirms all identities in a single run.
Component ratio
Peak areas calibrated against individual reference standards confirm the amount of each component against the label.
Purity
Each component is assessed against its own specification.
07
Four peptides: PE-22-28, Pinealon, N-Acetyl Semax Amidate and N-Acetyl Selank Amidate. The amount of each is stated on the product label and certificate of analysis.
No studies on this specific four-peptide combination have been published. Each component has its own, separate research background.
By reversed-phase HPLC with a gradient that retains the very polar Pinealon, and by LC-MS, where each component has a distinct mass. Peaks are quantified against individual reference standards.
Usually N-Acetyl Semax Amidate, because its methionine can oxidise. Protecting the material from light and air helps.
No. It is supplied strictly as a reference material for laboratory and analytical research and is not for human or animal use.
