01
Tri-Heal Max is a three-component research blend containing TB-500 (25 mg), BPC-157 (10 mg) and KPV (10 mg) in a single 45 mg lyophilized material. It shares three peptides with KLOW but contains no GHK-Cu, so it has no copper component.
Its unequal loading means the components are present in very different molar amounts: although TB-500 makes up most of the mass, KPV is present in by far the greatest number of molecules. This makes it a useful sample for multi-analyte quantification and for studying co-formulation stability without a metal present. It is supplied as a reference material for in vitro and analytical research only.
02
The three components differ widely in size and chemistry.
TB-500 (25 mg)
Synthetic thymosin β4, 43 residues with an acetylated N-terminus (4963.4 g/mol). Highly charged, with one methionine (Met6) that can oxidise and one aromatic residue (Phe12).
BPC-157 (10 mg)
Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val (1419.5 g/mol): proline-rich and acidic, with no aromatic or sulfur-containing residues. Its Asp-Asp pair is its main weak point.
KPV (10 mg)
Lys-Pro-Val (342.4 g/mol), the C-terminal tripeptide of α-MSH, very small and polar. Its Lys-Pro N-terminus can cyclise to a diketopiperazine.
Molar amounts
Per 45 mg vial this corresponds to about 5.0 µmol TB-500, 7.0 µmol BPC-157 and 29.2 µmol KPV, roughly a 5 : 7 : 29 molar ratio.
03
Research interest focuses on how the components behave together.
Copper-free comparison
Without GHK-Cu, copper-catalysed oxidation of TB-500’s Met6 is removed. Comparing Met6 oxidation here with KLOW and GLOW helps show how much the copper component contributes.
Unequal loading
Large differences in molar amount and ionisation efficiency affect how each component is quantified, especially by LC-MS.
Co-lyophilisation
Drying three peptides of very different sizes together can change recovery, dissolution and aggregation, particularly for TB-500.
Each constituent has its own research background, described on its individual reference page. No claims are made for the combination.
04
Three-component HPLC methods
Separating a very polar tripeptide, a mid-sized peptide and a ~5 kDa polypeptide in one run.
Ratio verification
A practical test of quantifying components present at very different molar amounts against individual standards.
Comparative blend stability
Forced-degradation studies alongside KLOW and GLOW to isolate the effect of the copper component.
05
Storage
Store the sealed vial at −20 °C, desiccated. Let it reach room temperature before opening to prevent moisture uptake.
Choosing pH
No metal coordination needs protecting, but BPC-157’s Asp-Asp pair isomerises fastest at mildly acidic pH, while KPV forms a diketopiperazine faster at neutral to basic pH. A pH of about 6–7, kept cold, with prompt use is a sensible compromise.
Oxidation
TB-500’s Met6 can still oxidise from dissolved oxygen and trace metals. Degassed solvent and minimal headspace or an inert gas overlay reduce this.
Light
Light sensitivity is low, since the only aromatic residue in the blend is Phe12 in TB-500, but storing protected from light is still good practice.
Reconstitution and solutions
Dissolve in water or mild buffer with gentle swirling; use within one session or freeze single-use aliquots in low-binding polypropylene tubes.
06
Each component is identified and quantified separately.
HPLC
Reversed-phase C18 or wide-pore C8 with a shallow start at very low organic content so that KPV is retained away from the void volume; HILIC provides an orthogonal method for KPV. Detect at about 205–214 nm.
Mass spectrometry
TB-500 gives multiply charged ions (about +4 to +7), BPC-157 mainly +2 and +3, and KPV [M+H]⁺ at m/z 343.2 (monoisotopic). No copper isotope patterns are present.
Ratio verification
Quantify each component against its own reference standard by external calibration. UV peak areas cannot be compared directly between components because their absorbance per milligram differs; LC-MS responses also differ by component, so matrix-matched or isotope-labelled standards improve accuracy. Acceptance limits are set in the lot specification.
Impurity profile
Check each component against its own specification, plus TB-500 Met6 sulfoxide (+16 Da), BPC-157 isoAsp variants and cyclo(Lys-Pro) from KPV.
07
Three: TB-500 (25 mg), BPC-157 (10 mg) and KPV (10 mg), giving 45 mg in total per vial.
KLOW contains these three peptides plus GHK-Cu; GLOW contains BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu without KPV. Tri-Heal Max has no copper component and loads TB-500 more heavily by mass.
Store the sealed vial at −20 °C, desiccated. Reconstitute in water or a mild buffer at about pH 6–7 with gentle swirling, keep the solution cold, and use it promptly or freeze single-use aliquots.
Reversed-phase HPLC with a low starting organic content and detection at 205–214 nm, HILIC as an orthogonal method for KPV, and LC-MS for identity. Each component is quantified against its own reference standard.
The 25 / 10 / 10 mg loading is a formulation choice. Because TB-500 is a much larger molecule, it is actually the least abundant component by number of molecules (about 5 µmol, versus about 7 µmol BPC-157 and 29 µmol KPV per vial).
No. It is supplied strictly as a reference material for laboratory and analytical research and is not for human or animal use.
